The Praise Factory was started as a new church plant by Pastor Vinson E. Royal, with the first service at The Lions of Judah Conference Center in Stone Mountain. The Praise Factory hopes to one day be located closer to downtown Atlanta and to be open 24 hours, able to meet the needs of the community night or day. We want to have ministries for single parents, the homeless, pregnant teenagers, and any other needs that arise within the community. We envision a 24-hour prayer and communication hotline, where we will be able to respond to any need that should come up, by both prayer and physical means.
With many of the core members coming from an established church, we desire to be challenged to grow in our walk with God. We would love to utilize a mission team to help provide training for our members in the areas of evangelism and understanding the cost of missions so that we can more effectively share the love of Christ with our community.
Our prayer is that the vision of this ministry would be part of the lifestyle for every member, and not just a vision for the church. We want to see followers of Christ living abundant lives outside of the four walls of the church so that everyone around them will hunger for the abundant life that comes from knowing Christ and following Him each and every day.

Vinson Royal
Pastor Royal is the third generation of preachers in this family line. After attending Virginia Union University, he later went on to receive his AA and BA from Beulah Heights Bible College with a degree in Christian Education in May of 2002. Licensed in June of 1991 by the Mt. Gilead Baptist Church of Fort Worth, Texas, Pastor Royal felt led by the spirit of God to move to Atlanta, Georgia. In 1992, he joined Beulah Baptist Church and was ordained there in 1998. In the summer of 1999, Rev. Royal became pastor of New Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church.
Pastor V. E. Royal recalls being quite comfortable in 2008 as pastor of New Macedonia Missionary Baptist. But sitting in a church meeting one night, he sensed God telling him it was almost time for him to move on. That same night, he woke up in the middle of the night and knew God was telling him it was time to fulfill a calling He had put on his life a while ago. That calling was to start The Praise Factory, leaving tradition in search of a ministry that would reach out and embrace lost souls, as well as elevate the relationships of Christians through Scripture and uninhibited praise.
Pastor Royal recently enrolled in the Interdenominational Theological Center at Morehouse College for the program of Masters of Divinity.
Pastor Royal fondly recalls his father challenging him to be diverse in ministry and preaching and not to be single-minded in preaching to one particular culture or class. He is thankful that he is not defined as a black preacher. In Pastor Royal’s words, “I don’t fit anywhere, I fit everywhere.”
